Information we collect
To arrange finance and provide credit assistance, we collect personal information such as your name, contact details, date of birth, employment and income details, assets and liabilities, expenses, and identification documents. Where relevant to your application, we also collect credit information, including details of your current loans and your credit history.
How we collect it
We collect most information directly from you, in person at Burleigh Heads, by phone, email, video call or through our online enquiry form. With your consent, we may also collect information from lenders, credit reporting bodies, your accountant or other parties relevant to your application.
How we use it
We use your information to assess your needs, compare loan options across our panel of lenders, prepare and lodge applications, manage your loan through to settlement, and stay in touch about your finance. We will only contact you about products and services where you have provided consent or where it is otherwise permitted by law.
Who we share it with
We may disclose your information to lenders and credit providers on our panel, our aggregator and licensee Coastline Lending Group Pty Ltd, credit reporting bodies, valuers, insurers, solicitors and other parties involved in arranging or settling your loan. We do not sell your information, and we do not disclose it overseas except where a service provider operates outside Australia and appropriate safeguards are in place.
Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access through secure systems, access controls and staff training. We retain information only for as long as it is needed or as required by law.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you at any time. We will respond within a reasonable period. If you have a concern or complaint about how we have handled your information, please contact us using the details below and we will work with you to resolve it.
